Remembering the Godfather trilogy

When I saw that the Godfather movies appeared they were brand new. I loved them in that time. I know the main characters are criminals, but I enjoyed it the most I could. Marlon Brando and Al Pacino were both great and excellent Godfathers. The mafia was what it once was back in the past. This movie is well done of how the mafia began. I still love to watch all three mafia movies. When I get the chance in one day I only watch The Godfather, part II. It was the perfect day to see it. I have read the novel, but sadly it isn’t number 1 in the literary world. I think there are more novels that are as the same as excellent as Mario Puzo’s novel. Each novel is different. I think that The Godfather movie and novel have a say to debate on it of where it should be ranked. For me in my point of view I think it should be number 1 on both subjects. It is an excellent movie and novel. Nobody has written a mafia novel that tops it. It stands in the history of time. I know there are some that probably don’t like that movie. But, it has changed cinema the way we see movies today. The Godfather will be the most beloved movie and novel in the history of the world. I certainly love them both! If you want to read an excellent novel, then The Godfather by Mario Puzo is exactly it. Both are entertaining!

Novel & Movie Review: Safe Haven

Both the novel and movie has satisfied me much. The movie resembles the same as Nicholas Sparks‘ novel Safe Haven. The movie is based on the novel of the same name. I see that Katie has a dark past that she doesn’t want the widowed Alex to know. Her darkest past haunts and torments her while she escapes to the Oasis of Southport around North Carolina. She finds Safe Haven where Alex and his two children live. She has run away from the cop because of her negative past of him. The cop is trying to find her of a murder crime she didn’t commit. I won’t spoil the movie and novel for you. I fell in love with the movie. I loved the novel. The have the same background, plot, and story, which are similar. I have read the novel first, and saw the movie second. I have no complaints on both.

The Difference Between Novel & Movie: The Fault In Our Stars

I have read the novel The Fault in Our Stars, and have watched the movie of the same name. Now I can make comparisons. In my point of view I feel the novel is much better than the movie. The movie was great and it completed the whole novel of how it was imagined by the author. But, the novel felt as if it was the movie as well. The movie and novel neither  didn’t disappoint its fans. I loved the novel much better, because it felt much different. When I saw the movie I have felt that I already know what is going to happen, but loved it, also. To me the novel has felt stronger, and heartfelt, because you imagine the characters. You can try to picture how they look like, and how they are alike. In the movie you feel you already know everything that’s going to happen, because you’ve read the book. However, there will be some people who will tell you that both were great. I have felt that imagining is a challenge, and I love challenges when I read novels, and the movies adapted towards it. The movie didn’t disappoint me. But I would prefer the novel than the movie any day.

About Nicholas Spark

When we want a romantic novel to sweep off our feet, it’s a Nicholas Spark novel. His characters carry whole emotional baggage. We feel sorry for the protagonist, and yet we want it to have a happy ending, which we usually do all of the time in his novels. Some characters end up with happy or sad endings. Some of them are sick, and need to be cured, but sadly they die, and we have to understand why. The traps that the antagonists do to the protagonist seem unfair. I think the protagonist overcomes these problems by understanding the antagonist; however, bad he or she may seem, but sometimes that doesn’t happen. They have to solve it another way. We are romanticized by these stories, and the fictional characters look real. This is the reason I love these novels, and his movies, like Dear John. We love to watch them solve their own personal problems. We care for the protagonists in his novels, and his characters are colorful. They are perfect romance books for men and women who want to feel heartfelt, and heart-warming. He is perfect to write romantic novels, and is the bestselling romantic author as of yet.
