My Point of View on Astronomy and God

Most scientists say to understand God is to understand and know astronomy. We go into the deep cores of him. I always love astronomy. I think this view is correct. I know that some other people don’t agree with this, but it is very hard to understand astronomy. You have to read many astronomy books, study it, and watch many astronomy shows and movies. Some will tell me that this is the wrong answer, but it is the correct one. If most scientists say it is this way, then they are correct. God is science and astronomy. No matter how ridiculous it sounds to some. It doesn’t to me.

  1. As I often said you don’t always have to agree with everyone but understand their point of view , if that would happen more often there would be less conflict πŸ™‚ so I do understand your point of view , interesting, I’m not really specialist in astronomy, but looking at space , stars and our universe, makes us feel what we are in this universe πŸ™‚

  2. I would like to voice my respect for your generosity supporting those individuals that actually need assistance with the issue. Your very own dedication to passing the solution across became quite helpful and have surely encouraged people much like me to get to their aims. Your new useful hints and tips means a lot to me and a whole lot more to my mates. With thanks; from all of us.

  3. First off, thanks for taking a peek at my blog and following it. I always appreciate it.

Second, since my blog is about political commentary, I don’t normally comment on non-political stuff, but because this is about astronomy (and God), I knew I had to comment. I am a undergraduate student studying astronomy, and I am also a committed Catholic, so both astronomy and God are important to me. I like that you assert that both can coexist because society often tries to negate this when it is true…after all, God created everything, so therefore, he also created the cosmos. In fact, I once heard in a lecture I attended as a high schooler that looking at the night sky is like looking at the hand of God. One of my friends who studies physics said that there are more people in these fields than you’d think that are believers in God…in fact, this weekend, I learned that my research professor and a few other astronomy professors at my school are Catholics.

Anyways, the point is, I’m glad to see more people who think of astronomy in this way. Also, happy Easter!

  4. If I could figure out how to like that post, I would.

I guess it just goes to show that things aren’t always what society tries to portray them as. For that, I’m glad. At least in the case I mentioned…it was much affirming in what I believe my vocation to be.
