Eli Herschel Wallach was an American film, and stage actor whose career spanned more than 6 decades, since the 1940’s. His famous movies were, The Magnificent Seven (1960), The Misfits (1961), and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (1966). He portrayed the fiction character Don Altobello in the movie The Godfather Part III (1990). He was one of America’s most prolific screen actors. His most recent movies were in The Ghost Writer (2010), and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010). He died on June 24, 2014. He was 98 years old. R.I.P. Eli Wallach.
