Who killed Billy The Kid, when, and where?
Billy the Kid was killed by Sheriff Pat Garret on the Maxwell Ranch House in Fort Sumter, New Mexico on July 14, 1881. Before the murder, Pat Garret and Billy the Kid were friends. They gambled and drank beer with each other. Billy’s real name was Henry McCarty and his alias was William H. Boone. He changed his name when he lived in Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Billy became an outlaw by the circumstances against him. It’s not that easy to call him evil, because you have to understand why he became an outlaw.
