Back in the 80’s I Liked…

Way back in the 80’s I was a die-hard fan of the movie series A Nightmare On Elm Street. It always used to give me the creeps. In a way you fear watching these movies, because it plays with your mind psychologically. The idea of having nightmares is original. It has this sort of vibe that if you sleep and dream Freddy is going after you and will kill you. In this movie the victims get killed in their sleep. But, my favorite movie was the very first one that came out called, A Nightmare On Elm Street.

After, the 90’s came my other favorite was Freddy’s Dead. It wasn’t until several years later the series became a bust. It ended as it moved along. But, yes those are the two movies I like the most: A Nightmare On Elm Street, and Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare. I don’t watch these movies anymore because for me it doesn’t frighten me anymore.

Hakuna-matata Method

“Why are you so glum, Daryll?” dad asked.

“I don’t feel happy, because I don’t have any friends. I will never be happy.” Daryll said.

“I am worried,” Daryll said.

Why don’t you try the Hakuna-matata method, son.” dad said.

“What’s that?” Daryll asked.

“It means no worries, no troubles,” dad told him.

“Does it work?” Daryll asked.

Suddenly he feels a little bit good.

“Yeah, of course it does! It takes all your worries and troubles away,” dad told him.

“I like the sound of that!” Daryll cried happily. He is now confident that he will gain friends.

FYI:

Hakuna-matata is a Swahili Language phrase from South Africa, the meaning is “no worries, no troubles.”.
