When I was a student at Mobile Christian School, I saw a banner in the hall once that read:
“Do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.”
It’s simple, yet not simplistic.
Don’t do the right thing because it’s the popular thing to do, and don’t do the right thing because it’s the unpopular thing to do–just do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.
